Thank you for your interest in the Stanford Eisenberg Knoxville Jewish Day School! We are delighted to have the opportunity to partner with you in the education of your child. Below is a summary of our online application process. The entire process is done online through FACTS, a website dedicated to school admissions and tuition management. How to Apply

Step 1: Submit an application for admission

Parent/Guardian completes the online Admissions Application (and Financial Aid application if applicable) and includes the $50.00 non-refundable application fee. KJDS encourages Kindergarten applicants to apply by December 30th, as space is limited. Applications for tuition assistance are due within 10 days of the application submission date. Please visit www.mytads.com/a/kjds to begin the application process. If you are interested in applying for the current school year, please contact Anna McDonald, Director of Admissions, at amcdonald@kjds.org to inquire about availability.

Step 2: Request for Release of Student Information

Permission for Release of Records Form
Download and complete the Permission for Release of Records Form from the TADS website. Both parents should sign this form. Give the signed form to the applicant’s current school. The school should send your child’s records to:

Teacher Recommendation Form
Download and complete the top portion of the Teacher Recommendation Form. Give the form to your child’s current school to complete. The school should return recommendations to:

Teacher recommendation and student records are due within 10 days of the application submission date.

Step 3: Student Meeting and Assessment

Once a complete application is received, KJDS will contact the applicant to schedule a student meeting and assessment.

Step 4: Notification of Admissions Decisions

Notification of admissions decisions and enrollment contracts will be sent 4–6 weeks after step 3.

Step 5: Enrollment Contracts Due

Parent/Guardian returns the enrollment contract and reservation fee of $500 to KJDS. The due date for enrollment contract and reservation fee is 3 weeks after notification of acceptance.

How to Apply

Step 1: Submit an application for admission

Parent/Guardian completes the online Application (and financial aid application if applicable) and includes the $50.00 non-refundable application fee.  Applications for tuition assistance are due within 10 days of the application submission date. Click here to start.  As part of the online application, we require a teacher recommendation and current school records. These are due within 10 days of the application submission date. Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis, but applicants are encouraged to apply by the end of December, as space is limited. 

Step 2: Student Visit

Once a complete application is received, including a teacher recommendation, KJDS will contact the applicant to schedule a student visit.

Step 3: Notification of Admissions Decisions

Notification of admissions decisions and enrollment contracts will be sent 4–6 weeks (or earlier if possible) after step 2.

Step 4: Enrollment Contracts Due 

Parent/Guardian returns the online enrollment contract and tuition deposit fee of $500 via FACTS. The due date for enrollment contract and tuition deposit is 3 weeks after notification of acceptance.
